| The puddling furnace is a metal making technology used to create wrought iron or steel from the pig iron produced in a blast furnace. Refining-it one type of iron making process. Shingling was a stage in the production of bar iron or steel. Rolling is a metal forming process in which metal stock is passed through one or more pairs of rolls to reduce the thickness and to make the thickness uniform. |
