Bitumen felt
Answer: Option
Explanation:
Bitumen felt is a type of building material that is used for water proofing and damp proofing. It is made from bitumen, a sticky, black, semi-solid form of petroleum, and hessian fibres, which are made from jute or other natural fibres. Bitumen felt is typically used to protect roofs, walls, and other structures from water damage by providing a barrier that prevents water from penetrating the surface. It is also used to prevent dampness and condensation from forming inside buildings by allowing moisture to escape from the structure. Bitumen felt is typically applied in thin layers using a hot asphalt or tar application process, which helps it bond to the surface and form a watertight seal.

Felt a kind of cloth made by rolling and pressing wool or another suitable textile accompanied by the application of moisture or heat, which causes the constituent fibers to mat together to create a smooth surface. Felt and bitumen together work as water proofing material.

Hessian fibres is a woven fabric usually made from skin of the jute plant or sisal fibres, which may be combined with other vegetable fibres to make rope, nets, and similar products. Gunny cloth is similar in texture and construction.

The hessian fibre will use in gunny preparation and this gunny will be used for wet covering right then how bitumen felt will be used as water and damp proofing anyone please clear my doubt.

Hessian these properties have also led to its use for temporary protection as wet covering to prevent rapid moisture loss in the setting of cement and concrete in the construction.

Destructive distillation is separation of solid components from the mixture by heat. But fractional distillation is separation of liquid components from the mixture.

Poisson ratio for istotrop material ranges from -1 to 0.5 and for anisotropic material, there is no upper limit.

Damp proof means it prevent from soil moisture and water proof means it prevent from soil moisture nad also the liquid water.
