Hard resins such as amber and copal are dissolved in linseed oil. If the varnish is found unworkable, a small amount of turpentine oil may be added.

C is right. Varnish itself consists of resin, drier and solvent. For oil varnish, oil is further added to it. And we know turpentine is a well known solvent. So the answer is resin, oil and turpentine.

Oil when mixed with resinous substances is called oil varnish and when sprit mixed with spirit is spirit varnish. In oil varnish, turpentine is added however.
