An internal angle less than 180 is called hip. Greater than 180 valleys.
An external angle less than 180 is called valley and greater than 180 is called hip.
An external angle less than 180 is called valley and greater than 180 is called hip.

The line of intersection of two surfaces of a sloping roof forming an external angle of fewer than 180 degrees is known as a valley. In question, they mentioned that internal angle instead of internal if they ask for external then valley is correct but here valley is not the correct answer.

Answer is HIP.

No, the answer must be hip because it is the angle which is less than 180degree formed by the intersection of two slope lines being a sloped surface in the roof.
