Minimum space that will allow two people pass conveniently at the same time ie if they have stand beside each other. Though the minimum by rule is 90cm but the closest answer is 85cm & 5cm difference is negligible.

The average value in Residential building = 900mm or 90cm.
Public Building = 1. 5m to 1. 8m.
Public Building = 1. 5m to 1. 8m.
