If the velocity of a body increases by equal amounts in equal intervals of time, then the body is said to be moving with uniform acceleration.
This is because acceleration is defined as the rate of change of velocity with time. If the velocity is changing by equal amounts in equal intervals of time, then the acceleration is constant, and the body is said to be moving with uniform acceleration.
Suppose velocity is increasing in such way that at t=1 distance is 2m and t=2 distance is 4m and similarly, t=3 distance is 6m then velocity V1=2m/s and V2=4m/s and V3 = 6m.
Now for Acceleration =change in velocity/change in time.
a1 = 2-0/1-0 = 2m^2/s.
a2 = 4-2/2-1 = 2m^2/s
a3 = 6-4/3-1 = 2m^2/s
Option B, "a uniform acceleration", is the correct option in this case.

The given answer is correct as velocity increases by an equal amount by an equal interval of time.
That means if the current velocity is 10m/s then after 5sec it will be 15m/s and after the next 5sec, it will be 20m/s and so on. As the velocity is changing with time so acceleration is variable.

Uniform Acceleration = A body is said to be moving h uniform acceleration if its velocity changes by equal amounts in equal intervals of time.
Variable Acceleration = A body is said to be moving with variable acceleration if its velocity changes by unequal amount in equal intervals of time.
Variable Acceleration = A body is said to be moving with variable acceleration if its velocity changes by unequal amount in equal intervals of time.

The correct option will be uniform acceleration. If it is said that velocity change increases with an equal amount in equal interval time then it is variable acceleration. But in the question, it says the only velocity.

Uniform acceleration is a change of equal velocity in equal intervals of time.
Non-Uniform acceleration is a change of non-equal velocity in equal intervals of time.
So, the given answer is correct.
Non-Uniform acceleration is a change of non-equal velocity in equal intervals of time.
So, the given answer is correct.

Change in velocity is acceleration. Here the change in velocity is by an equal amount which shows uniform velocity change. Hence change velocity that is acceleration is Uniform. So, the answer is B.

A body is said to have a uniform acceleration if it travels in a straight line and its velocity increases by equal amounts in equal intervals of time.
So, Option B is correct.
So, Option B is correct.

I was under the impression that if the velocity was increased by equal amounts at equal time intervals it is called "constant" velocity. Therefore; the answer should be E.

A uniform increase in velocity with time implies that the acceleration also increases with time. An increase in acceleration with time is called "uniform acceleration".

Velocity increases or decreases with equal amount in a equal interval of time then its acceleration is uniform. So, Option B is Correct.
