Reaction 2 is not correctly balanced. The answer should be D.

1) N2 + 2O2 = 2NO2; ΔG°(1) = 100 kJ/mole.
2) NO + 1/2 O2 = NO2; ΔG°(2) = -35 kJ/mole.

Reversing: NO2 = NO + 1/2 O2 = ; ΔG°(2) = 35 kJ/mole.
Multiplying by 2: 2NO2 = 2NO + O2 ; ΔG°(2) = 2*35 kJ/mole = 70 kJ/mole.
3) Net reaction: N2 + O2 = NO; ; ΔG° = 100 + 70 = 170 kJ/mole.
