Here Molecular weight of Ca = 40.
Also Molecular weight of CaCO3 = 40 + 12 +1 6*3 = 100.
Percentage of CA in CaCO3 = 40/100= 40%.
Also Molecular weight of CaCO3 = 40 + 12 +1 6*3 = 100.
Percentage of CA in CaCO3 = 40/100= 40%.

Let
Mw of caco3 = 100,
Awof ca = 40,
Percentageof ca incaco3 = 40%100 * 100.
Mw of caco3 = 100,
Awof ca = 40,
Percentageof ca incaco3 = 40%100 * 100.

The molecular weight of CaCO3 = 100.
The atomic weight of ca =40,
Percentage of ca in caco3 = (40÷100) * 100,
=40.
The atomic weight of ca =40,
Percentage of ca in caco3 = (40÷100) * 100,
=40.

mw of ca = 40.
Then caco3 = 100.
So 40/100 = 40%.
Then caco3 = 100.
So 40/100 = 40%.

Please, I need an answer.
Analysis of a carefully purified sample give C = 40%, H = 50%, O = 54%. The mole mass was found to be 180 determine.

As we have to calculate the percentage of "Ca" in CaCO3. for that we have the formula for finding out the percentage, which is:
Percentage = Atomic Mass in Gram/Molecular Mass x 100.
Putting values.. Percent = 40/100 x 100.
= 40% answer.
Percentage = Atomic Mass in Gram/Molecular Mass x 100.
Putting values.. Percent = 40/100 x 100.
= 40% answer.

Ca mw=40
CaCO3 mw=100
Therefore 40/100=40%
CaCO3 mw=100
Therefore 40/100=40%
