The correct answer is option (B) - outside diameter.
Standard pipe having the same nominal sizes, wall thickness varies with schedule number. Hence OD will remain the same & ID varies W. R.T schedule number.

According to ANSI 36.10.
This answer is valid only up to 14" size.
Sizes larger 14" the outside diameter is fixed regardless the schedule.

In pipe, as sch no change ID well change OD is the same as per PSM document. Tise is true for the tube as BWG.

As per my knowledge, pipes having the same nominal diameter will also have the same outside diameter. Therefore the answer should be, option B.
