|Here given answer is wrong. The Right answer is "C" Ethyl nitrate or acetone or alkyl nitrate.
Tetraethyl lead is used as an octane booster as above describe Not a cetane booster.
And Tetramethyllead is also wrong because it is also used as an additive for gasoline. Which was stopped used in refinery due to its hazardous effect? Exposure to tetramethyllead can affect the central nervous system, the kidneys, and the cardiovascular system.

|lead is used to increase the octane number in gasoline which means the Aromatics.
For kerosene, the aromatic content should be less so lead should not be used.
Di-tert-butyl peroxide is used without the addition of Nitrogen content.
