Answer both are correct.
But here we use smoke point for kerosene and viscosity index use for lubricant. If paraffin contains are more and aromatic contain are low then. The high smoke point of kerosene. And high paraffin in lube oil means V.I higher. Then variation in viscosity of lube oil with temp will be lower this property good for lube oil.
