Some diolefines and olefine are unsaturated hydrocarbon components and having low oxygen subtlety from O2 & moisture from air, and which are take the O2 and moisture from air to from polymers it is cause to gum-formation.
So that we are adding Antioxidants to minimize the gum formation in gasoline or petrol.
Now sulphur comp are reduce the octal number. And increase the ash content in fuel.
