But why not option D? Because cd is proportional to 1/d as CD = 24/Nre in laminar flow conditions so that v = 1/d.

At low Reynolds number (laminar), drag coefficient varies inversely with "Re". Then C would be correct.

But here, its constant drag coefficient i.e. turbulent. So "B" is the correct answer.
