When unsaturated air with dry and wet bulb temperatures of 35°C and 25°C, respectively, is passed through a water spray chamber maintained at 35°C, the following processes occur:
1. Cooling: The dry bulb temperature of the air remains constant at 35°C as it passes through the water spray chamber, so there is no cooling effect due to a change in dry bulb temperature.
2. Humidification: The wet bulb temperature of the air decreases as it passes through the water spray chamber. This is because the water in the chamber adds moisture to the air without changing its dry bulb temperature. The air becomes more saturated, and its relative humidity increases.
As a result, the air is humidified.
So, the correct answer is both (a) & (b), as the air is both cooled and humidified as it passes through the water spray chamber.

Because the dry bulb temperature is same for both the water and air. So temperature difference is not established which is responsible for heat transfer to take place.

Humidified is right but why not cooled?
When it humidified as well as it will get cool.
When it humidified as well as it will get cool.
