B is the correct answer because Diffusivity in the gas phase is proportional to T^1,5 and in the liquid phase, it is proportional to T^1.
In both MTC coefficient is proportional to diffusivity/penetration distance.

Exactly right @Indrasinh.

Option A is correct.

For liquid, the bond strength is high than gas therefore the temperature change will have a high effect on liquid than gas.

B is the correct answer.

For gas M.T.C directly proportional to Dab/T. And Dab proportional to T^1.5 so M.T.C proportional to T^0.5. And liquid M.T.C proportional to Dab and Dab proportional to T. So M.T.C directly proportional to T. Option A is correct.

Yes, you both are right @Anu, @Anuj.

I too Agree. It's option B.

N = Kc* delC and Kc= Dab/z.
Dab = diffusivity.
Means Kc proportional to Dab.
For solid Dab proportional to T^.5.
For liq Dab proportional to T^1 and,
for gas Dab proportional to T^1.5.
So, the option B is correct, A is false.

I think option B is correct.

According to me, the answer should be C. because k and D both are different things.

Anuj said:   7 years ago
No, The correct answer is B because k is directly proportional to D & for gas, D varies T^n where n is 1.5-1.8. & for liq. D varies with T.
