Hydraulic radius = cross sectional area( non circular ch.)/ perimeter of channel in contact with fluid.
So area =1/2( b1+b2)*h.
Perimeter =b1+b2+ f(b1+b2).
So here ration = 2.
So area =1/2( b1+b2)*h.
Perimeter =b1+b2+ f(b1+b2).
So here ration = 2.

Depth of flow = y.
Hydraulic radius for trapezoidal section = y/2.
So the ratio = y/(y/2) = 2.
Hydraulic radius for trapezoidal section = y/2.
So the ratio = y/(y/2) = 2.
