Upto my knowledge,

Acetylene gas have the widest explosive limit.
But not the most explosive gas!

The most explosive gas is Hydrogen.

So the question should be twisted a little bit.
For the answer to be acetylene.
And

By the way, the terms may vary according to the available conditions (eg. temperature, pressure, volatility).

Ammonia 15 - 28.
Carbon Monoxide 12 - 75.
Ethyl Alcohol, Ethanol 3.3 - 19.
