The answer should be C. The entire reaction comprising both reactants and products exhibits only one extent of reaction. It is NOT dimensionless, it has a unit of molar amount that is consistent with the material balance equation. It depends on the stoichiometric coefficient mainly because the coefficient becomes a factor multiplied to the extent of the reaction term in the material balance equation.
