First order conversion equation:

-ln(1-X)=Kt.

* t 1/2 for first order reaction equation.
t 1/2 = 0.693/K.

In question (time equal to three times the half life of the reaction) that means.
t = 3*t 1/2,
-ln(1-X) = K * 3 * t 1/2,
-ln(1-X) = K * 3 * 0.693/K,
-ln(1-X) = 3 * 0.693,
X = 0.875.

-ln(1-XA) = 3 * 0.693,
XA = 0.8749.

C = Co*EXP(-kt).

C = Co(1-X).

t = 3*0.693/k.
