If x moles of N2O4 dissociates, 2x moles of NO2 will be formed.

Hence total amount remaining at equilibrium = 1 - x + 2x = (1 + x) moles.

Yes, right @Moazzam.

Total is the sum of N2O4 and 2NO2 right?

For N2O4: 1-X.
For 2NO2: 2X.
Total: 1+X.
