High P and low T are required to increase conversion of ammonia because product moles is less than reactant moles.

Reaction proceeds in the direction of lesser molecules.

Going by Le -Chatelier's principle the high pressure favours forward reaction and increases the fractional conversion of ammonia.

Check both sides Stoichiometry

The No of moles in the reactant side = 1 + 3 = 4.
The No of moles in the product side = 2.

Since Product no. of moles is decreasing with increasing pressure, equilibrium conversion is increasing.
