The back mix reactor is also known as the ideal CSTR. In a CSTR, Reactant concentration is low as there is continuous mixing. Whereas in a PFR, concentration is High at the beginning.
Here, All the option other than the back mix behaves like PFR.

This is the case of positive order reaction so we prefer pfr over mfr (back mixing reactor) and here all options except A are PFR hence A is the correct option.

Because it is a series of CSTR as we know it acts as PFR.

You are right @Dilip.
1 .Series of CSTR-gives conversion same as PFR, So gives high Yield.
2. PFR in series- PFR in series are not better, But gives yield higher than CSTR only.
3. But back mix Reactor behave as CSTR, So gives low yield than any other arrangement mention above.

The concentration of the reactant also drops in the case of CSTR. So Why the answer is not CSTR?

This is because if back mixing is allowed the reactant concentration drops drastically.
