We can consider the fluidised bed reactor if the reaction is reversible because it is difficult to maintain isothermal conditions in a fixed bed reactor (as it is not mentioned in the question, we usually consider irreversible).

But fluidised bed alone can also on in its own. As it is in FCC.

Because due to exothermic reaction, the catalyst is deactivated due to formation of hotspots on the catalysts active sites. Therefore fluidized bed is favourable for start.
