As per my knowledge, water is the exception most of the liquid contacts when they freeze.

Answer B is correct, because when we freeze the liquid water to ice, in this process volume increase so we can say that it expand and we know that dP/dT=- (dS/dV).

Liquid contraction at a particular temperature means decrease in vapour pressure, which leads to an increase in the freezing point. Also, generally the freezing point of a liquid increases when pressure is increased. So, if the liquid expands considerably, then the freezing point of it decreases when the pressure is increased.
