After throttling, the temperature of the gas may increase or decrease because here there are two opposing effects:.

1. As the pressure energy is converted to intermolecular energy the temperature of the gas should increase.

2. By throttling since the pressure decreases or expansion will take place by the equation of state we can tell the temperature also decreases.

So, it all depends on what is the initial state of the gas and the nature of the gas.

So, the correct option is D.

The temperature of Hydrogen, Helium & Neon increases while throttling so the answer should be D instead of A.

The temperature of gas is depend throttling and volume of gas decrease and kinetic energy of molecules increse and temp also increase.

Increasing or decreasing temperature in the throttling process depends on the nature of gas, so option D is correct instead of A.

A is the correct answer, according to Joul Thomson.

Hydrogen, Helium has negative j t coefficient.

Option D is correct.

It will not decrease for all gases.

After throttling the temperature of the gas decreases but at the end of the process it comes to the initial state of the process.
