Lowering temp-exothermic reaction, liberation of heat.

Lowering pressure- increases volume.

When it becomes soluble some amount of energy is released because of hydrogen bond form, when a bond forms, energy is released and according to Gibbs free energy exothermic reaction favours when t and p are reduced.

When we reduce pressure then volume increase.

By Le Chatelier's Principle, lowering the temp favors exothermic reaction and lowering pressure favors increasing volume process.
