The activity in a mixture of gases is equal to its fugacity.
If the mixture behaves as an ideal gas at the given conditions, the activity and pressure are equal.

Activity depends on temperature, pressure and composition of the mixture, among other things. For gases, the activity is the effective partial pressure, and is usually referred to as fugacity.

For a gas, the activity is simply the fugacity divided by a reference pressure to give a dimensionless quantity.
