Resistance is directly proportional to the length of conductor (more the length more will be the resistance) and is inversely proportional to the area of the conductor (more the area less will be the resistance).

Resistance is directly proportional to length and inversely proportional to area.

R ∝ l/A.

R = ρl/A.

Here ρ is electrical resistivity.

The answer should be "B" as resistance increases with length but decreases with cross sectional area.
