The answer is D.
Resistance is directly proportional to l and inversely proportional to A.
The word used is "proportional". So whether it is inversely or directly proportional. As long as it is proportional the answer is D.

Resistance is directly proportional to the length of conductor (more the length more will be the resistance) and is inversely proportional to the area of the conductor (more the area less will be the resistance).

When only 'proportional' is used the without specifying which proportion it means that only the positive proportion is implied. Just as writing 20, means +ve and -20 means -ve 20. So the answer is B.

Whether it doesn't specify direct or indirect proportion, we take it as directly proportional. So resistance is directly proportional to length. And the Answer is B.

Resistance is directly proportional to length and inversely proportional to area.
R ∝ l/A.
R = ρl/A.
Here ρ is electrical resistivity.
R ∝ l/A.
R = ρl/A.
Here ρ is electrical resistivity.

Resistance is directly proportional to the length and inversely proportional to the crossectional area. That's why correct answer is 'B' not both.

The answer should be "B" as resistance increases with length but decreases with cross sectional area.

Resistance is directly proportional to length and inversely proportional to area. So the correct answer is B.

The Correct option is D, Because it does not mention whether it is directly or inversely proportional.

Yes, I think D is suitable because there is not specified that directly or indirectly proportional.
