The Carnot cycle is a thermodynamic cycle that gives the best efficiency possible. Given an amount of energy in form of heat, the Carnot cycle transforms heat put in to produce useful work by a series of reversible adiabatic (isentropic) and isothermal processes.
The efficiency of a Carnot engine is one minus the ratio of the temperature of the hot thermal reservoir to the temperature of the cold reservoir.

The answer should be option A.
Carnot cycye consists of reversible adiabatic processes.
For reversible process we know;
dS=dQ/T.
For the adiabatic process, we know dQ =0.
So dS=0
So S2-S1=0
So S2=S1.
Means Caront cycle should be called a constant entropy process.
