It all depends upon the industries as most of the industries called hp steam of 40 barg.

It varies depending on the pressure required in turbines and process usage.

Options B through D is high enough to describe a high-pressure boiler generating steam.

A boiler is called a high-pressure boiler when it operates with a steam pressure of 80 bars. The high-pressure boilers are widely used for power generation in thermal power plants.

In a high-pressure boiler, if the feed-water pressure increases, the saturation temperature of water rises and the latent heat of vaporization decreases.

The feed water can be heated to saturation of temperature in the economizer with the help of waste heat. Recovery from the exhaust gases escaping to the chimney.

Then the boiler supplies only latent heat of vaporization and superheat. Thus, a boiler operation at high pressure will require less heat addition for steam generation.

Steam generation depends on the capacity of boiler & requirement of temperature against pressure.

I think it's a tricky qustion, it's more an IQ question than a chemical engineering one. As 80 is the highest of all highs we got in the options.

Boilers are three types.

1. Fire tube boilers.
2. Water tube boilers.
3. Oil and gas-fired boiler.

In generally, we use oil and gas-fired boilers in industries. Which is similar in mechanism to fire tube boilers. Where the heating element is gasoline oil. So this is called as oil and gas-fired boiler.
