Tin based white bearing have low melting points, so, they can not handle high temperatures. They are most suitable to handle high pressures and loads due to their ductility, shock resistance along with low coefficient of friction.

Tin-lead and tin-copper alloys such as Babbitt metal have a low melting point that is ideal for use as solder, but these alloys also have ideal characteristics for plain bearings. Most importantly for bearings, the material should be hard and wear-resistant and have a low coefficient of friction. It must also be shock-resistant, tough and sufficiently ductile to allow for slight misalignment prior to running-in.

As we know that if pressure is high and temperature will get automatically increased.

Tin based white metals have 4 times the load bearing characteristics and two and a half times the maximum surface speed of lead based white metals.

How come if the pressure increases temperature automatically increases and tin has a very low melting point how can it be used at high-pressure condition?

Tin-based white metals are used, where bearings are subjected to large surface wear. The white metals of light-colored alloys are subjected to use for lead-based and tin-based alloys. They are soft and are very ductile.
