@Olumide Adewumi.

Why option B is correct?

According to Erwin Chargaff A bonds with T and C with G i.e A<->T and C<->G.

5' - 3'
A - T
T - A
T - A
G - C
C - G
C - G
A - T
3' - 5'

So 3' TAACGGT 5' or 5' TGGCAAT 3' is the Answer.

B is correct answer. Hope its clear now.

B is the correct answer because you have to read it 5' to 3'. The complementary strand is 3' TAACGGT 5' but you have only answers with 5' to 3' so the right answer is 5' TGGCAAT 3'.

Hope I have helped :).

Option B is a very wrong answer, the second strand is a complimentary strand and according to Erwin Chagaff A bonds with T and C with G, that is why the number of A=T and C=G.

"B" is a wrong answer. The correct answer is"A". Always DNA is formed in a 5' to 3' direction. Antiparallel arise only during pairing and not during formation.

Option B is the correct answer.

Because DNA one strand in 5'to3' direction but another complementary strand in 3'to5' directions.

This is absolutely wrong. A is the Correct answer. Option B is the reading for mRNA. Not for the complementary strand of the DNA.

@Rathi.

Why did you read the sequence of the other strand from the bottom?

Sure A is the suitable answer. I also agree.
