AT = 40% means G=?
Solution:
A is always equal to T,
So A = 40/2 = 20,
T = 40/2 = 20.
Formula for calculation of any residue.
G (or) C = 100-(A+T)/2.
A or T = 100-(G+C)/2.
So G = 100-(20+20)/2.
= 100-40/2.
= 60/2.
= 30.
So guanine residue = 30%.

A and T = 40 means 20 for each.
100 - 40 = 60 GC content i.e. 30 for each.
100 - 40 = 60 GC content i.e. 30 for each.
