Adrenalin, thyroxine acts on receptors which are located in the cell. Then how option D is possible. They don't involve in coupled receptors.

Epinephrine is a hydrophilic hormone while thyroxine is hydrophobic. Adrenergic (epinephrine, aka "adrenaline") receptors are cell-surface receptors while thyroxine receptors are intra-cellular receptors.

Thyroxin has intracellular receptors. Then how can be D is the right option?

Or the instead of thyroxin it can be TSH then answer would be D.
