How can convert 5hrs 48min to 5( 4/5) hrs?

Tharun Dyanish said:   8 years ago
1 hr 40 kins 48 secs=1.68hrs. The speed is 42/1.68=25.
25*5/7=125/7=17 6/7.

But I want to know how it came 30?

First modify all in hour.
So,

1hour+ 40/60hour+48/3600hour,
1+2/3+1/75=126/75 hour.

Hi. Why don't we cut 126/75=42/25? If it's right means the answer will become 25. Is it right or wrong?
