See,

50/3 he is earning when he is investing Rs. 64.

So for earning of Rs.1 he has to invest Rs. 64/(50/3).

So for earning of Rs.1500 he has to invest Rs. 64/(50/3)*1500.
=64*(3/50)*1500
=64*3*1500/50
=Rs. 5760.

To earn 50/3 v invest 64.

So to earn 1500 v invest ?

Just do cross multiply i.e.,

V invest 64*1500*3/50 = Rs. 5760.

Here if you invest 64 Rs then you'll get 16 2/3%.

16 2/3% = 50/3 = 16.6Rs.
Which means you'll earn 16.6Rs.

In the question, one earns 1500 Rs then how much we invested?

64 ---- 16.6 or 50/3.
? ----- 1500.

= (1500*64)/(50/3).
= 1500*64*3/50.
= 5760.
