We can write a^2+b^2=(a-b)^2+2ab.
When we solve (a-b)^2+2ab we will get a^2+b^2.
Now put the value of (a-b) and a^2+b^2 in the equation a^2+b^2=(a-b)^2+2ab.
Ans is - 10.
