A sum of money is to be distributed among A, B, C, D in the proportion of 5 : 2 : 4 : 3. If C gets Rs. 1000 more than D, what is B's share?
Answer: Option
Explanation:
Let the shares of A, B, C and D be Rs. 5x, Rs. 2x, Rs. 4x and Rs. 3x respectively.
Then, 4x - 3x = 1000
x = 1000.
B's share = Rs. 2x = Rs. (2 x 1000) = Rs. 2000.

A:B = 3:4.
B:C = 5:6.
According to continuous proportion,
A:B:C = 3*5:4*5:4*6 = 15:20:24.
B:C = 5:6.
According to continuous proportion,
A:B:C = 3*5:4*5:4*6 = 15:20:24.

Let the shares of A, B, C, D.
= 5x-2x = 3.
= 4x-3x = 1.
B's Share = 2x1000 = 2000.
= 5x-2x = 3.
= 4x-3x = 1.
B's Share = 2x1000 = 2000.

Let their Ratio =5X,2X,4X,3X C+1000=D,C-D=1000,4X-3X=1000,X=1000,B=2X=2.1000=2000

The difference between C=4 and D=3 is 1.
1 = 1000.
B's share = 1000 × 2= 2000.
1 = 1000.
B's share = 1000 × 2= 2000.

a=5000, b=2000, c=4000, d=3000 c value greater then d 1000.
So, B shear 2000.
So, B shear 2000.
