Given by 3 ratios into divided by some parts like 1/2 is the 1st part, 2/3 is the 2nd part,3/4 is the third part so,
We are talking 3 parts 1st we should follow L.C.M 2,3,4 = 12 so,
1/2 * 12 = 6(1st), 2/3 * 12 = 8(2nd), 3/4 * 12 = 9(3rd) then we adding those values 6 + 8 + 9 = 23 then now they are asking abt 1st part /total ratio*some money(Rs).
6/23 * 782 = 204.
So, the ans is [D].

6x = 9×8.
x = 9×8/6.
x = 12.

We have to divide those fractions :
1/2 = 0.5,
2/3 = 0.66,
3/4 = 0.75.
Now the ratio will be 0.5 : 0.66 : 0.75.
To find 1st part:
First ratio/sum of all ratios)* Rs = (0.5/(0.5+0.66+0.75)) * 783 = 204.
1st part : 204.
1/2 = 0.5,
2/3 = 0.66,
3/4 = 0.75.
Now the ratio will be 0.5 : 0.66 : 0.75.
To find 1st part:
First ratio/sum of all ratios)* Rs = (0.5/(0.5+0.66+0.75)) * 783 = 204.

Multiply 1/2 with 6, 2/3 with 4 and 3/4 with 3 so that numerator is same i.e. 12, hence 6:8:9

How 1/2 is attained as 6 2/3 as 8 and 3/4 as 9 and how for calculating the first part the number is multiplied by 6/23 ?
