In a game of billiards, A can give B 20 points in 60 and he can give C 30 points in 60. How many points can B give C in a game of 100? can anyone tell me answer?

How both ratio is same?

B can give C 25 points in a game of 100.

Consider it a 60mts race.

Since give and take policy is implied here it means all ends the race in same time.

Now,
A can give B a lead a 15mts in 60mts race.
So dist covered by B=45mts in time A covers 60mts.
So A/B = 60/45---->(1)
similarly,
A/C = 60/40 - - - >(2)

Now,
To get B/C we divide (2)/(1)
We get 45/40.

Conclusion ,in a race of 45mts B can give A a lead of 5mts
So,in 90mts race.

B can give 5*2 = 10mts lead.

Hence,
Ans = 10.

Please someone clarify how it comes 45/40 to 90/80?
