@All.
Speed of a train = speed of another train x √T1/T2.
So the ratio of speed = speed of train/speed of another train = √T1/T2.
So, we can get directly, 4:3.
Speed of a train = speed of another train x √T1/T2.
So the ratio of speed = speed of train/speed of another train = √T1/T2.
So, we can get directly, 4:3.

Distance say x.
So times 9 and 16.
Speed ratio,
x/9:x/16.
16:9.
Answer is 16:9 but there is no answer in option.
So square root booth side,
Then 4:3.
So times 9 and 16.
Speed ratio,
x/9:x/16.
16:9.
Answer is 16:9 but there is no answer in option.
So square root booth side,
Then 4:3.

Time to meet the train t=(t1 * t2)^1/2.
Where t1=time take by 1 train to reach at the other ends just after using two train and similarly t2.
Thank you

If distance between delhi and patna is x then, time taken in two conditions are :
1. 2x/60 and x/80+x/40
as eq. x/80+x/40= 2x/60+2
Simplified x=480.
