Simplest way,
Our train took 9 secs at 60 kmph.
Convert the time taken into hours ->. 0025 hrs.
So, distance (required length) = Speed x Time = 60 x. 0025 =. 15 km = 150 m.

Convert hr to sec - 3600.
Sso, 60000/3600 = 16.666(speed) * 9 (time) = 150.
