Explanation:

Number of runs made by running = 110 - (3 x 4 + 8 x 6)

= 110 - (60)

= 50.

Similarly 500/11=45* 5/11 that is

( (45*11)+5)/11

remember one thing
any fraction can be written in the following format

quotient *(remainder/divisor)

we get fraction as
500/11

just convert it into above format
thats it

(50*100)/110=500/11 are you agree with this, then

45*11=495 where 11 is denominator then by adding 5 to 495 we will get 500, then keep the denominator same.

Just we have used the formula.

50 runs are scored by running out of total score 110.

And as we have asked the ans. Should be in percentage.

Any quantity when multiplied by 100, we get the value in percentage.
