6 percent of taxable = Total tax = 5.
Total tax = Sales tax + Misc tax.
Since, she already accounted for the sales tax of 30p, in the beginning, we add at the end.

Total purchase amount Rs.25.
In table tax is 6% is = Rs.0.30.
Finding table actual price is Rs.0.30/6=0.05*100 = 5
The table price is Rs.5.
25 - 5 - 0.30 = 19.7.
In table tax is 6% is = Rs.0.30.
Finding table actual price is Rs.0.30/6=0.05*100 = 5
The table price is Rs.5.
25 - 5 - 0.30 = 19.7.

Let the cost of tax free items be Rs. X.
then, the cost of taxable items equals Rs. 25-x.
Therefore, 6% of 25-x = 0.3,
6/100(25-x) = 0.3,
X = 20.
then, the cost of taxable items equals Rs. 25-x.
Therefore, 6% of 25-x = 0.3,
6/100(25-x) = 0.3,
X = 20.

Simple:
X be taxed items.
Y be non-taxed items.
Rs.25
Tax 30 Paise.
Tax 6%.
(6/100)X = (30/100).
X = 5.
Y = (25-(X+0.30)).
Y = 19.70.

Let y is paid 100.
X is paid 120,
Then 220= 550 total pay of both,
Then find unit of 1 = 2.5,
Y = 2.5 * 100 = 250,
X = 2.5 * 120 = 300.
X is paid 120,
Then 220= 550 total pay of both,
Then find unit of 1 = 2.5,
Y = 2.5 * 100 = 250,
X = 2.5 * 120 = 300.

@Dezal.
Solve it through vein diagram.
60 + 50 = 110.
10 is extra count and it is the number of students who passed in both subject.

.30 is the actual tax paid not a part of the taxable portion which is rs.5.So .30 should not be included in the end of the solution.
