@Dezal.
Out of 20 liters, 20% is water and remaining 80% is milk. In the second case, the volume is increased by adding water only. So milk % will remain same(80%).

Let make marks be = x.
40% of x = 40 + 40.
40/100(x) = 80.
x = 200.
Hope this will help you.

Total price = 6650.
This is common for both tax and rebate.
Rebate = 6% reduce the Total price then.
Tax = 10% increase the Total price.
So we take (10%-6%) = 4%, (4/100)*6650+6650 = 6676.10.

Total price = 6650 and discount 6% = 6650-6/100 = 399 and 6650-399 = 6251 include tax 10% = 10/100*6251 = 625.10 then add 6251+625.10 than answer.

A = 150% of B = 150/100*B = 3/2B.
C = 120% of A = 120/100*A = 6/5A = 6/5*3/2B = 9/5B.
A+B+C = 86000.
3/2B+B+9/5B = 86000.
43B/10 = 86000.
So B = 20000.
3/2*20000+20000+C = 86000.
C = 86000-50000 = 36000 OR C = 9/5*20000 = 36000.
C = 120% of A = 120/100*A = 6/5A = 6/5*3/2B = 9/5B.
A+B+C = 86000.
3/2B+B+9/5B = 86000.
43B/10 = 86000.
So B = 20000.
3/2*20000+20000+C = 86000.
C = 86000-50000 = 36000 OR C = 9/5*20000 = 36000.
