100x * 3/5 = 855.

x = 1425 + 5%.

=1500.

Let x is total profit.
5% is given to charity.
So new profit =95% 0f x.
There fore a's profit will be 3/5*new profit.
Therefore 3/5*95/100*x=a's profit.
3/5*95/100*x=855.
X=1500.

We know a's share is 855, so a gotb 3rd part of profit after giving fund to charity so b should get 2nd part from total money so we divide 855/3 that is 285 then we get 1 part. Then we want 2nd part of total profit so 285*2=570, then total a and b profit after giving fund is 1425. Then view answers and find 5% of total money from options if you got 1425 after geting 5% from answer that is the answer.

5% to charity
therefore..95%=0.95 to both a and b
let x be the total profit
0.95*x*(3/5)=855

therefore... x=1500

Remaining profit=(1-0.05)=0.95P
A's share=(0.95p*3)/5
855=0.95p*3/5
p=855*5/(3*0.95)
p=1500

It is also done by this method.

855 is A.

Total 855*5/3=1425.

Now 1425*100/95 =1500.

Total profit = x.

5% is going to charity.

So remaining is 95%.

95x/100*3/5 = 855.

X = 855*5/3*100/95.

X is 1500.

A's Profit = 3/5 i.e 855
B's Profit = 2/5 ; 2/5 of Profit = ?
3/5= 0.6; 2/5=0.4 ; 0.4*855/0.6= 570

A+ B = 1425 (Which is 95% of profit) ;

5% = 0.05*1425*.95 =75
Total Profit = 1425 + 75 = 1500;

Let total profit= x.
Since 5% goes to chairity so.
Now total profit=95x/100.
So this profit distribute between A and B.
95x/100*3/5=855.
X=1500.
