third no - second no ..
series go like that ..
that is
13-8=5
21-13=8
32-21=11

47-32=15
63-47=16

see in about two line we have to 14 and 17 respectively..
so that the series contiunes as the difference of 3 after subtracting the next no from previous no ..
when we replace 47 by 46 ..

46-32=14
63-46=17
83-63=20..

so the 5.. 8.. 11.. 14.. 17... 20.. the difference is 3..

Difference between 8 & 13 is 5.ie if v subtract 13-8 v get 5
Difference between 13 & 21 is 8.ie if v subtract 21-13 v get 8(5+3)
Difference between 21 &32 is 11.ie if v subtract 32-21 v get 11(8+3)

Likewise difference between 32 & 47 is 15.ie if v subtract 47-32 v get 15 But it doesnt satify the condition 11+3=14..hence 47 is wrong no..

Difference between 8 & 13 is 5.ie if v subtract 13-8 v get 5

If you see the difference;
8-13 is 5
13-21 is 8
21-32 is 11
Now if you see the no: 5 8 and 11
=> 5+3==>8.
8+3==>11.

So the now next no after adding 3 will be 11 +3 ==>14, but if u see the diff between 32 and 47 it is 15 which is wrong. So the ans will be 47.

It's very simple add three number for each last no.

8-13=value is 5.
add 3 in 5,
5+3=8, so 13+=21,
8+3=11 ,so 21+11=32,
11+3=14,so 32+14=46,
14+3=17,so 46+27=63,
17+3=20,so 63+20=83,

So the wrong no is 47, real value is 46.

STEP1......8+5=13;
2......13+5+3=21;
3......21+5+3+3=32;
4......32+5+3+3+3=46 here in the series it is 47
5......46+5+3+3+3+3=63;
6......63+5+3+3+3+3+3=83; so 47 is wrong

Add 5 to 1st number.

Then add (5+3) to the next number.

Then add (5+3+3) to the next number.

Then add (5+3+3+3) to the next number and so on.

So 47 is wrong it must be replaced by 46.

13-8 = 5.
21-13 = 8.
32-21 = 11.
x-32 = 14.
63-x = 17.
83-63 = 20.

(5,8,11,14,17,20 ) each time increase by 3.
So there, x should be equal to 46(i.e., x=46).

Its very simple yaar. Difference betweenn 8 & 13 is 5, 13 & 21 is 8, 21 & 32 is 11. Add 3 numbers for all. Numbers you've to add is 5, 8, 11, 14, 17. 20. Got it?

Its starts with 5 add it in 8 you get 13.

Add 3 in to 5 you get 8 add it in 13 you get 21.

Add 3 In to 8 you get 11 add it in 21 I get 32 and so on.

The difference between 63 and 47 is ''16" not 17. Had it been "64" instead of 63 the explanation as well as question be correct.
