72-56 = 16
90-72 = 18
110-90 = 20 132-110 = 22.

So, the next term is 132 + 24 = 156.
Therefore option [D] is the answer.

Given 56, 72, 90, 110, 132, 150.

Now lets check their squares 56 = 7 square (49) + 7 = 56.

Likewise in case of 72 = 8 square (64) + 8 = 72.

But in case of 150 = 12square (144) + 12 = 156.

So 150 is an odd number to be outed friends.

You can even think this way.

1) The first two digits are following odd numbers.

i.e. 5+2=7, 7+2=9...

2) The last digit is some what like this.

6, 2, 0, 0, 2, 6...

But 150 didn't satisfy 2nd rule. I think this is crazy thought.

The logic is +16, +18,+20,+22,+24.
56 + 16 = 72,
72 + 18 = 90,
90 + 20 = 110,
110 + 22 = 132,
132 + 24 = 156.
So "150" is wrong.

I have added 16 for the 1st two numbers, followed by 18 and so on.
For 132, we should add 24, and then the number should be 156. But the number mentioned was 150.
So 150 is an odd number.

From the above explanation, 150 is incorrect. So it is odd one.

The difference between the 2 successive numbers ie,72-56=16,90-72=18,110-90=20,132-110=22,{150-132=18}which has to be 24.so 150 is the wrong no.

But according to the given explanation the next term should be 172.

Really confusing.

Differences b/w the i^th term and (i+1)^th term starts from 16 and goes on increasing by 2... The last no 150 doesn't satisfy this condition.
