Every number is divisible by 2 and after division we get whole number but when we divide 1/2 then it give 0.5 means float value. So correct answer will 1.

How do you actually get to know what should we divide it with from the beginning.

In the series first we have to observe the numbers 3840, 384 from that we come to idea that it should be divided by 10, later the next one with 8 and so on.

So we can decide that 46080 is divided by 12.

The reason given says that the should be divisible by 12, 10, 8, 6... If that is the reason the the no. 24 is divisible by 4 which comes next in the sequence 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 (i.e. even no) but 1 is odd man in this series.
